Kanye West has caused all sorts of uproar with the visuals for his controversial single, "Famous" off his seventh studio album, "The Life of Pablo".
The
music video which the rapper debuted during an event at the Forum in
Los Angeles on Friday, June 24, 2016, is every bit as controversial as
the song itself.
The clip shows a naked Kanye, 39, lying in bed next to his wife, Kim Kardashian, as well as 10 other celebrities which we spotted, all in the nude.
George W. Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown,Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby and, Taylor Swift were all spotted in the scene which seemed to be simulating an orgy.
It is hard to tell which of the celebrities naked bodies are actually real or fake, as their likeness were stunning.
Vanity Fair
reports that the controversial clip was shot over a period of three
months and "cycled through four different formats and several different
collaborators until West felt he’d achieved the result he wanted.”
The Website reported:
“The
video leaves you guessing as to which of the celebrities are really
playing themselves and which are presumably only there by the grace of
some advanced prosthetic wizardry."
Kanye reportedly disclosed to the medium that he got aprroval for the song from his Kim, a fact he has emphasised before.
“I
say a lot of lines other wives would not allow a husband to say, but my
wife also puts up photos that other husbands wouldn’t let them put up.
One of the keys to happiness in our marriage is we’re allowed to be
ourselves.”
Us Weekly reports that
at the end the visual, the fashion designer took time out to thank all
the celebrities involved “for being famous.”
Some Twitter users have pointed out that Kanye seemed to have been inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s “Sleep” painting, which also depicts 12 people laying naked in bed together, covered only by white bed linings.
